Villa Aurora is located on a hill and has beautiful natural surroundings.In autumn you can pick berries and mushrooms right on the porch and in summer you can hike in the forest just behind the house. Northern lights can be spotted even from inside the chalet through the windows!

The center of the holiday village Äkäslompolo is 2 km away.The enormous supermarket Jounin Kauppa offers a wide selection of foods, clothing, and other essentials and also holds a separate pharmacy (Apteekki), a liquor store (Alko), and a café. You will also find other shops, bars, and restaurants in the village center. The hotel Äkäshotelli is 1,5 km away and has a medical center just next to it (MediYlläs).
